New York Open Judo TV presents competition videos from the annual judo tournament NY Open Judo, an athletic tradition that has been celebrated for the past 25 years. Competitors from over 20 countries, including Olympic and World medalists, travel to New York every year to fight at the NY Open Judo, one of the most competitive international competitions held in North America.

As one of the official sponsors of the tournament, Film Annex created NY Judo Open TV to bring exclusive footage to viewers, including interviews with athletes, competitions, and award ceremonies. Originated in the late 19th century in Japan and debuted as an official Olympic sport in 1964, Judo is practiced by millions of people throughout the world today, including several world leaders like Vladimir Putin, former US President Theodore Roosevelt, as well as many celebrities like director Guy Ritchie, actor Chuck Norris, and Peter Sellers.
